The most effective leader in American history – 64% Accomplished.
He had an amazing first year.
President Donald Trump is on track to becoming the most effective leader in American history. Prominent think tank the Heritage Foundation found that the White House is ticking off pieces of his agenda with a surprising rapidity.
President Trump is outpacing Ronald Reagan. He’s already accomplished 64 percent of his agenda, a 15 percent increase of what Reagan had accomplished at this point in his career.
“We’re blown away… (President Trump) is very active, very conservative, and very effective,” Thomas Binion, director of congressional and executive branch relations at Heritage, said.
People who pay attention to mainstream media outlets may be surprised to learn that President’s first year in office was massively successful. Liberal pundits are determined to focus on the worst parts President Trump’s White House, even making up stories if they have to. His successes have been severely underreported.
“I think the media have been harder on Trump than any other president certainly that I’ve known about,” former president Jimmy Carter said.
The White House has seen success on immigration, tax reform, health care, foreign policy, and national security.
“It is a huge volume that his administration has worked on and it is a huge spectrum of issues,” said Binion.
The “Mandate for Leadership” is a Republican strategy concept embraced by Reagan in 1981. The Heritage Foundation has already produced five strategy books about President Trump.
“He has been very, very active,” said Binion. “He is moving the ball in the conservative direction.”
The Trump administration is embroiled in multiple scandals, many of them manufactured by the media. Despite this, the president is doing very well. His campaign promises weren’t just empty words, he’s actually accomplishing what he set out to do.
At the end of last year, Congress passed a sweeping tax reform bill that has already benefitted millions of Americans. Corporate taxes were slashed so dramatically that some are already doling out bonuses to their employees.
U.S. News writes of the tax plan: “It will double the child tax credit… 80 percent of taxpayers would see a tax cut, while less than 5 percent would see a tax increase of more than $10. It is an imperfect bill, and one that perhaps should not be dubbed “tax reform,” but still a significant one that more or less adheres to what Trump promised on the campaign trail – and which will have notable effects on the budgets of many families and businesses across the country.”
The tax bill also dismantles Obamacare. The individual mandate, the most controversial tenet of the law, has been abandoned. Naysayers said that it couldn’t be done yet President Trump was able to accomplish it almost without cooperation from the Republicans.
More work needs to be done to completely repeal Obamacare, but the president’s tax bill is a step in the right direction.
The Trump administration has peeled back multiple burdensome regulations. He yanked the U.S. out of the Paris climate accord agreement, despite liberal hysteria that doing so would have terrible consequences.
He made a decisive move in the Israel-Palestine conflict and moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem.
Earlier this week, a federal judge upheld the legality of the border wall. Migrants, aware of President Trump’s no-nonsense approach toward immigration, are sneaking into America at lower rates than when Barack Obama was in office.
ISIS is in shambles. The conflict in the Middle East is still being waged but ISIS’ power is diluted.
“Which is the more underreported story of @POTUS year one? Defeat of ISIS. Booming Trump economy,” White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted.
Liberals wanted President Trump to fail. First, they predicted that he could never win the presidency. Next, they began insisting that he would do a terrible job and be impeached.
They’re wrong. President Trump is giving voters exactly what they wanted.
The president’s biggest accomplishment, tax reform, may not even be attributed to him by liberals. A lot of Americans won’t see the benefits of the new bill until they file their April 2019 tax returns. But that doesn’t lessen his accomplishment.
